WAMY Commends Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Global Quranic Promotion

Podgorica: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has praised Saudi Arabia for its leading role in promoting the Holy Quran and advancing tolerant Islamic values on a global scale. The organization highlighted the significant contributions made by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in fostering Islamic identity among Muslim youth worldwide.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this commendation was made during the conclusion of the local Holy Quran competition for boys and girls, which was organized by the Ministry in Podgorica, Montenegro. The event was supervised by the religious attach© at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The competition's closing ceremony included the recognition of male and female winners, who were honored with commemorative plaques, certificates of appreciation, and financial awards for their achievements in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran.

Participants and their families expressed gratitude towards the Saudi Government for its unwavering support, noting that these competitions play an essential role in encouraging younger generations to strengthen their connection with the Holy Quran and embrace its teachings.
