Wadi Mashar: Wadi Mashar, nestled in Hail Region's Aja Mountains, is a prominent natural attraction known for its striking pink granite views, natural springs, palm and acacia trees, and diverse flora. Its soft purple soil and flowing waters-particularly after rainfall-continue to captivate visitors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the valley's distinctive terrain draws nature enthusiasts and functions as a vital green space for the region. In recognition of its ecological value, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture designated Wadi Mashar as a national nature park, initiating the planting of over 5,000 seedlings with community participation to combat desertification.
Further elevating its appeal, Governor of Hail Region Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz launched the SAR350 million Mashar Park project, which spans 923,000 square meters. This ecotourism initiative will include equestrian, shooting, and swimming academies, a wilderness resort, hiking trails, and a 21-unit hotel. The project aims to enhance quality of life and position Wadi Mashar as a sustainable development model within the Kingdom.
