Vice Sport Minister Crowns German Driver Gnther in 3rd Round of 2025 Jeddah E-Prix

Jeddah: The third round of the 2025 Jeddah E-Prix, hosted by the Kingdom for the seventh consecutive year at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on February 14-15, kicked off on Friday, organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Vice Minister of Sport Bader bin Abdulrahman Al-Kadi awarded the German driver Maximilian Gnther of the DS Penske team the first place in the third round of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. British driver Oliver Rowland, from the Nissan team, took second place, followed by British driver Taylor Barnard from the NEOM McLaren team.

In the team category, Chairman of SAMF and the Saudi Motorsport Company Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal crowned the DS Penske team with the first-place team award, its first win after the introduction of the PIT BOOST energy boost feature.

The Formula E championship supports the national vision for sustainability and clean energy by utilizing environmentally friendly electric technologies, aligning with the Ministry of Sport's efforts to advance the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 through the promotion of sustainable sports.
