Jeddah: Vice Minister of Sport Bader Alkadi crowned Australian player Neil Robertson as the 2025 champion of the Snooker Masters, held at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Hall in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the tournament witnessed exciting competitions and matches that set numerous new records in snooker history over nine consecutive days, with the participation of 144 players from around the world.
Robertson's crowning came after defeating his English competitor Ronnie O'Sullivan in the final match with a score of 10-9 in an exciting encounter. Robertson won the title for the first time in the Kingdom, receiving a cash prize of £500,000, as part of a record total of more than £2 million.
