Brussels: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met with Yasser Sorour, the Assistant Foreign Minister of Egypt and Director of the Sudan and South Sudan Department. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the fourth meeting of the Consultative Group on Enhancing Coordination of Peace Initiatives and Efforts in Sudan, hosted in Brussels, Belgium.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on reviewing aspects of cooperation and exchanging views on issues of mutual interest between the two nations. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both countries to collaborate on strategic matters concerning the region.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Haifa AlJedea, who is the head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's mission to the European Union, highlighting the significance of the engagement at a diplomatic level.
