Riyadh, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji received here Tuesday Feridun Sinirlioglu, the UN Secretary-General's Special Coordinator for the Independent Assessment of Afghanistan.
During the meeting, El-Khereiji and Sinirlioglu discussed the efforts made by both Saudi Arabia and the UN in Afghanistan.
They also discussed the latest developments with regard to enhancing security and stability in the region and supporting efforts aimed at restoring stability and prosperity to Afghanistan and its people.
Abdullah bin Khaled Al Saud, Assistant Director of Policy Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
