Manama: On behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji participated yesterday in the joint ministerial meeting between the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Arab Republic of Egypt, held via videoconference. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the participants reviewed the strong cooperation relations between the GCC and Egypt and discussed ways to enhance and develop them across various fields. The ministers also reiterated their strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant and unjustified attacks carried out by Iran against GCC states, stressing the right of GCC countries to take all necessary measures and mobilize all capabilities to safeguard their security and stability.
