Riyadh: A delegation from the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Director Dr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov, visited the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) today. The visit marks a significant step in fostering academic collaboration and cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation met with KFCRIS Secretary-General Princess Maha bint Mohammed AlFaisal. The discussions centered around exploring potential avenues for academic cooperation between the two centers, with a focus on enhancing joint cultural work. This aligns with both nations' goals of promoting cultural understanding and sharing knowledge.
During their visit, the Uzbek delegation had the opportunity to tour the Al-Faisal Museum for Arab-Islamic Art. This visit provided them with insights into the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Arab-Islamic world. Additionally, the delegation explored the Saudi Memory Unit, gaining a deeper understanding of Saudi Arabia's historical context and its cultural evolution over the years.
