Makkah: Rapid medical intervention, within the first hour of a heart attack, for an Iranian pilgrim prevented complications and enabled him to quickly recover and complete the Hajj rituals. This was achieved through emergency heart surgery at King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah, part of the Makkah Health Cluster.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the intervention reflected the qualitative efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's health clusters to provide specialized medical care to pilgrims, according to the highest quality standards, staffed by qualified Saudi personnel, and equipped with advanced equipment. It comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's interest and care for pilgrims.
