Riyadh: Upon directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Pakistani conjoined twins Sufyan and Yusuf arrived today at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The twins were transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital to undergo medical evaluation in preparation for a possible separation surgery.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Supervisor-General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and head of the specialized surgical team Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah praised the leadership for the humanitarian initiative. He noted that the Kingdom's extensive experience in separating conjoined twins has positioned it as a global reference in the field.
The twins' family expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for its swift response and generous hospitality, marking another milestone in the Kingdom's mission to provide specialized medical care to children worldwide.
