Lebanon: Lebanon is expected to experience unsettled weather starting Saturday as a low-pressure system originating over the Black Sea gradually affects the country, according to the forecasting department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Saturday's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with fog on high ground. Temperatures will rise slightly along the coast but drop over the mountains and inland areas. Light, scattered rain is expected in northern regions during the morning, before cloud cover thickens from midday, bringing widespread rainfall across the country. The rain is forecast to be heavy at times, accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds, and a drop in temperatures, with snow falling at elevations above 1,600 meters.
On Sunday, conditions will remain mostly cloudy with dense fog at low elevations and below-average temperatures. Heavy rain, hail, and thunderstorms are expected, with snow levels dropping to 1,500 meters during the day and 1,100 meters at night in the north.
The low-pressure system is expected to gradually weaken on Monday, with colder northern winds prevailing and warnings of icy roads at higher elevations.
