Unified Media Center Holds Hajj Media Briefing with Interior and Hajj Ministries’ Spokespersons

Riyadh: The Ministry of Media's Unified Hajj Media Operations Center held a media briefing yesterday evening for Hajj 1446 AH, featuring Ministry of Interior's Security Spokesperson Colonel Talal bin Abdul Mohsen bin Shalhoub and Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's Official Spokesperson Dr. Ghassan bin Rashid Al-Nuwaimi.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the security spokesperson explained that the first phase of the plan to transport pilgrims to the holy sites was smoothly implemented today. Hajj security forces continue to carry out their duties in accordance with the approved plans, ensuring the safety of pilgrims, the smooth flow of transportation, and the highest level of service.

In turn, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated that more than 94,000 personnel are currently employed in the Hajj system, and to date, over 1.5 million pilgrims have arrived from outside the Kingdom. He emphasized that the ministry is fully prepared to serve pilgrims across all levels, including infrastructure, digital platforms, and service delivery.

Dr. Al-Nuwaimi stated that the Pilgrims Awareness Center plays a vital role in spreading awareness messages both on the ground and digitally through the organization's partners. To support this effort, several awareness guides have been created in 20 languages, alongside the distribution of more than 1.2 million informational publications to pilgrims.
