Riyadh: The third edition of the Forbes Middle East Women's Summit commenced on Monday in Riyadh, chaired by spouse of the Governor of Riyadh Region and Chairperson of the Women's Committee for Community Development at the Riyadh Region Council Princess Noura bint Mohammed.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the two-day summit, held at the Fairmont Riyadh under the theme 'Limitless Inspiration,' highlights inspiring women who contribute to shaping a more inclusive and empowering future, promoting leadership and influence across various sectors. The event was attended by several royal highnesses, along with a distinguished group of businesswomen and diplomats from within the Kingdom and abroad.
The first-day sessions focused on women's empowerment through education, culture, the creative economy, and technology-key pillars for shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future. The summit featured discussions highlighting women's growing leadership and influence across various fields, including conscious leadership and cultural transformation, which addressed their role in developing educational and cultural policies, and women in diplomacy, which explored their contributions to enhancing international dialogue and building cross-border partnerships.
The sessions also addressed emerging technologies and financial inclusion, showcasing women's role in driving digital transformation across economic sectors, as well as women in sports, which emphasized how sports have become a powerful platform for women's social and economic empowerment.
Moreover, the summit included a series of interactive workshops under the 'She Leads Studio' platform, designed to provide participants with practical experiences that enhance self-awareness and leadership.
Key sessions included redefining beauty and wellness as tools for expression and empowerment; financial empowerment and confidence-building, focusing on wealth management and financial independence; preventive health and holistic well-being, highlighting the importance of early detection and a balanced lifestyle; and sustainability and cultural identity in the luxury sector, exploring how local heritage can be integrated with innovation to foster creativity and economic empowerment.
