Unaizah: The evening events and programs of the Unaizah International Dates Festival, held under the slogan "Naqwa Unaizah," have commenced. The festival highlights the date palm sector and its products, with the participation of several government and private entities and a range of programs and activities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the opening event featured the "Naqwat Al-Naqwa" auction, which allows farmers and traders to present their premium date products to interested buyers in a specialized setting. The products are displayed in specially designed glass cases, offering a modern presentation that differs from traditional date auctions while showcasing their quality and market value.
The festival hall also includes dedicated spaces for government and private entities to introduce their services and programs related to the date palm sector. A range of activities and events is also available to visitors every evening.
The Unaizah International Dates Festival coincides with the date production season in Qassim Region. It contributes to supporting the marketing of local products, enhancing the presence of Saudi dates, and highlighting their distinctive quality and variety.
