Riyadh: The Union of News Agencies (UNA) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI). The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in various areas such as training, organizing workshops, conducting seminars, and coordinating media publications.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU seeks to build a strategic partnership between UNA and CIBAFI, focusing on the exchange of expertise and resources. This cooperation is expected to facilitate the dissemination of information and raise awareness about Islamic banking and financial activities.
The agreement is part of UNA's broader initiative to engage with key financial institutions and enhance its role in promoting knowledge sharing and innovation within the Islamic finance sector. CIBAFI, as a leading representative of Islamic banks and financial institutions, will contribute to this effort by providing valuable insights and support for joint activities.
