UNA, King Salman Academy to Conduct Virtual Course on Arabic Writing Skills

Riyadh: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Union of News Agencies (UNA) in cooperation with the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL), will hold a virtual training course on the fundamental skills in Arabic writing from October 26 to 28.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the course aims to highlight common errors in Arabic writing, correct the use of certain words and particles, and introduce participants to sentence structuring, the use of conjunctions, and proper writing and distinction of numbers.

The course is part of implementing the recommendations from the virtual seminar held on September 30. The seminar, titled 'Standards of Arabic Language Usage in the News Agencies of the OIC Member States,' was jointly organized by UNA and KSGAAL.
