Umm Al Qaiwain: H. H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain has ordered the release of 30 prisoners from the punitive and reformative institutions in the emirate on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
The inmates who have been convicted and are facing deportation orders by the courts will be sent back to their home countries.
The Ruler expressed hope that this will give them the opportunity to join their families soon and live the rest of their lives as good individuals.
