CAIRO: The UAE took part in the 8th meeting for Arab foreign ministries’ senior officials and the Arab league which was held to mull preparations for the participation of Arab countries in the international Conference on the Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone (2012 Conference on the MEWMDFZ), slated in Helsinki, Finland late December 2012.
The UAE was represented to the Cairo meeting by Mohammed Ali Al-Shamsi, Advisor at the office of the Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IEA) and Ali Al-Shamili, Third Secretary at the UAE Embassy in Cairo.
