The U.S.-Saudi Business Council (USSBC) announced Tuesday that its board of directors appointed Charles Hallab as the president and chief executive of the council. The Saudi co-chairman of the USSBC, Abdallah Jum'ah, welcomed Hallab's appointment, wishing him and all the employees of the council continued success. The U.S. co-chair of the USSBC, Steve Demetriou, expressed his happiness with Hallab leading the council, highlighting the depth of the U.S.-Saudi trade relationship. The USSBC, established in 1993, is the leading bilateral organization dedicated to promoting business between the Saudi and American business communities. It provides information, influence, and assistance annually to member companies in both countries, as well as non-member Saudi and American companies, to build successful partnerships through trade missions, business development services, conferences, networking opportunities, and publications.
