Tuwaiq Academy at LEAP 2026 Showcases Pathways to Building Future Skills

Riyadh: As advances in AI, cybersecurity, programming, and drones continue to accelerate, the demand for technical skills that meet the evolving needs of the labor market is growing. Training and upskilling programs have therefore become an important means of preparing national talent for emerging technology fields.

According to Saudi Press Agency, LEAP 2026 in Riyadh is showcasing various approaches to this effort, including the expertise of Tuwaiq Academy, which offers a comprehensive system spanning talent discovery and skills development, professional training, and preparation for the labor market. The academy provides specialized boot camps and programs across a range of technology fields, along with pathways that lead to employment.

Since its launch, more than 55,000 male and female trainees have graduated from the academy, including 2,800 graduates from its boot camps in a single year. The academy has delivered 3,000 technology-focused programs and boot camps and achieved an employment rate of more than 82% among graduates within just three months. Several of its programs also lead to professional and industry certifications accredited by leading global technology companies.

The practical side of the academy's participation in LEAP 2026 is reflected in live drone demonstrations, technology challenges that let visitors test their skills, and enriching sessions exploring emerging technologies. The academy is also introducing visitors to the technical schools for gifted students, the Tuwaiq global academies, and platforms such as Satr, Tuwaiq Challenges, and Bug Bounty, as well as Tuwaiq Clubs at universities.

These pathways reflect the diverse approaches to developing technical skills, from learning and training to hands-on practice and professional preparation. They help prepare national talent to keep pace with technological change and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by developing human capabilities and advancing the digital economy.
