Transport Minister Concludes Visit to Italy with Emphasis on Economic Relations and Investment

Rome: Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser concluded an official visit to Italy, accompanied by a delegation from the Kingdom's transport and logistics sectors. The visit aimed to strengthen economic relations and investment between the two countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the trip, Al-Jasser led the Saudi delegation at a Saudi-Italian roundtable meeting. The meeting included government and private-sector representatives and focused on enhancing partnerships. Investment opportunities under Saudi Arabia's National Transport and Logistics Strategy were also reviewed.

Al-Jasser met with public- and private-sector officials to bolster cooperation in transport and logistics and to develop economic ties. He visited companies and government centers specializing in luxury trains and smart road technologies, where he reviewed operations, explored technological innovations, and discussed cooperation.

The minister's visit was intended to enhance economic and development opportunities and to enable Italian private-sector companies to benefit from significant opportunities through increased foreign direct investment in Saudi Arabia.
