Riyadh: The Transport General Authority (TGA) has obtained ISO 20000 certification in the domain of Information Technology Service Management Systems. This milestone was reached after fulfilling all requisite criteria for certification.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ISO certification serves as an affirmation of TGA's commitment to delivering integrated and high-quality digital services within the transport and logistics sector, aligning with international best practices and standards.
This esteemed certification is awarded to organizations that meet the highest standards of operational excellence and quality. The authority has obtained several certificates in ISO, including the ISO/IEC 17020: 2012 certificate in achieving international quality standards in the field of control and inspection of the land, maritime, and rail transport sector, and another in the application of best practices and international standards for the information security and confidentiality management system, in addition to a certificate in business continuity management.
