Transport Authority Seizes Three Foreign Trucks, Imposes SAR10,000 Fine for Unauthorized Goods Transport

Riyadh: The Transport General Authority (TGA), with the support of security authorities, seized three foreign trucks for unauthorized transport of goods within the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the TGA imposed a financial penalty of SAR10,000 on them in accordance with the Road Transport Law. This action is part of the TGA's efforts in field monitoring and inspection, ensuring a regulated and safe transport environment that supports economic growth, enhances supply chain efficiency, and boosts the competitiveness of the logistics sector.

The authority affirmed that it will not tolerate violations and will strictly enforce regulations against offenders. It also emphasized its commitment to intensifying field monitoring operations and taking necessary actions to prevent system exploitation and any violations that could impact fair competition, road safety, and the efficiency of the logistics sector.
