Jeddah: The Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services is participating in the fifth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, held from November 9 to 12, 2025, at Jeddah Superdome. The ministry's unified pavilion brings together the entities under the transport and logistics system, including the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Transport General Authority, the Roads General Authority, the Saudi Ports Authority, Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR), Matarat Holding, Saudi Post (SPL), Saudia, and the National Transport Safety Center, reflecting the ecosystem's integration and collective efforts to serve pilgrims.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SAR Spokesperson Khaled Al-Farhan said that SAR's participation aims to highlight its services and initiatives in rail transport through the Haramain High-Speed Train and the Mashair Train, as well as its role in facilitating the movement of pilgrims. He noted that each conference edition provides a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with Hajj offices and for signing service agreements, thereby increasing the number of train trips and the number of passengers traveling between Makkah and Madinah.
The participation of the transport and logistics ecosystem in the conference underscores its integrated efforts to serve pilgrims. It showcases the quality services provided to facilitate their movement and enhance operational efficiency during the Hajj season. It also highlights the latest technological solutions and innovations that improve pilgrims' experience and enable them to perform their rituals with ease and comfort.
During the conference, the ministry signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Interior to exchange expertise, participate in joint conferences and exhibitions, promote awareness of services provided to pilgrims, and enhance integration in awareness initiatives. Another MoU was signed with the Nusuk Program for Hajj and Umrah to address field challenges and develop innovative solutions that enhance pilgrims' experience and support the sustainability of the services provided to them.
