Al-khobar: Trainees from the International Technical College for Girls at Al-Khobar secured first place globally at the Minoan RobotSports Competition (MRC) Global Olympiad, held on the island of Crete, in the Adults Exhibition Category for their project 'Etezan".
According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievement reflects continued support and empowerment of national talent, highlighting the advanced level to which Saudi trainees have advanced in technology and innovation, particularly in developing practical, human-centered solutions.
The project presented an innovative model designed to measure stress and analyze workplace environments using data and physiological and psychological indicators, to enhance well-being and productivity.
The college is one of the global technical colleges overseen by Colleges of Excellence, affiliated with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, which works to qualify national talent in line with international education and training standards and align graduates with local and global labor market needs.
CEO of the Colleges of Excellence Ayman Alabdullah commended the achievement, stating it reflects the competence of Saudi women and the advanced technical and innovation-focused training they receive, underscoring the quality of training outcomes delivered through specialized programs.
