Madinah: The Ministry of Tourism has announced that the number of licensed hospitality rooms in the Madinah Region has reached around 62,000. This marks a 62% increase from 2023 and places Madinah second only to Makkah in terms of licensed rooms across the Kingdom's regions and cities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the steady increase in hospitality facility licenses in Madinah is attributed to the Ministry's "Our Guests Are a Priority" campaign. This initiative focuses on improving service quality in tourism establishments and ensures that all tourism activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including the mandatory licensing of hospitality facilities.
