Riyadh: The Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah held a joint meeting at Almadinah Almunawarah Chamber to brief investors and hospitality operators on the upcoming Hajj season. The meeting focused on the electronic services available to increase the bed capacity of tourism facilities for the Hajj season of 1447 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry of Tourism delegation detailed the process for submitting requests to increase bed capacity, highlighting the goal of enhancing the tourism sector's readiness and operational efficiency. A team from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also provided updates on the housing contract authentication service on the Nusuk platform, underscoring that visas will only be issued upon verification of a valid, Ministry of Tourism-licensed housing contract.
This collaboration aims to streamline services, ensure the quality of hospitality for pilgrims, and address the inquiries of operators and investors.
