Tokyo: The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has announced that Governor of Tokyo Yuriko Koike will attend and deliver a keynote address at the FII PRIORITY Asia Summit in Tokyo from November 30 to December 1, 2025. The summit is set to occur under the theme 'The New Asia' and will gather over 1,000 leaders from various sectors, including government, business, investment, technology, and civil society. This event signifies a pivotal moment as strategic dialogue shifts from West to East, with an emphasis on unlocking prosperity and impacting humanity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Governor Koike, who recently received commendation for her contribution at FII9 in Riyadh, will continue discussions on Tokyo's aspiration to re-establish itself as Asia's leading international financial and innovation hub. The aim is to attract capital, talent, and innovative ideas to the city.
The summit will also feature notable speakers such as Yasir Al Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FII Institute, Matteo Renzi, Senator of the Italian Republic and former Prime Minister of Italy, and Masayoshi Son, Chairman and CEO of SoftBank Group Corp. Other prominent leaders include Masahiro Kihara, President and Group CEO of Mizuho Financial Group, Akihiro Fukutome, President and CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and Hiromi Yamaji, Group CEO of Japan Exchange Group, among others.
