Riyadh: Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and hail are forecasted to affect parts of Eastern, Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds are also anticipated, with a possibility of light rain in areas of Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Madinah, Hail, and Qassim regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to shift from southwesterly to northwesterly in the northern section, with speeds ranging between 10 and 50 km/h. Wave heights will vary from half a meter to two meters, resulting in conditions that are calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will vary from northeasterly to southeasterly, blowing at speeds of 10 to 55 km/h. Waves are predicted to range from half a meter to over two meters, making sea conditions calm to choppy.
