Jeddah: Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds are anticipated in the Jazan and Aseer regions. Thunderclouds may also form in parts of the highlands of Al-Baha and Makkah regions. Fog is expected in these areas, as well as in Northern Borders and Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds will affect the southern parts of Riyadh Region. Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-50 km/h in the southern part. Waves will range from half a meter to two meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-30 km/h. Waves will reach from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea will be relatively calm.
