Thunderstorms and Dusty Winds Forecasted for Jazan, Asir, Makkah, and Madinah Regions

Jazan: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast indicating the possibility of thunderstorms with active winds and hail showers over parts of the highlands in the Jazan and Asir regions. Additionally, parts of the Makkah and Madinah regions, particularly the coastal areas, will experience active winds that will stir up dust.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the report also highlighted that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 15-35 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h near the Gulf of Aqaba. The wave heights in this area are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in light to medium sea waves. On the Arabian Gulf, the surface wind will be southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-20 km/h, with wave heights between half a meter and one meter, leading to light sea waves.
