Thunderstorms and Dust-Stirring Winds Forecasted in Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds are anticipated in several parts of Saudi Arabia, including the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating that these conditions are expected to occur on Thursday. Residents in the affected areas have been advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with the latest weather information.

In addition to the stormy weather on land, maritime conditions are expected to vary. Over the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to northerly with speeds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h. The sea state is expected to be relatively calm, with wave heights reaching between half a meter and one and a half meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will similarly be northwesterly to northerly, but at higher speeds of 20 to 45 km/h. The sea in this area is expected to be choppy, with waves ranging from one meter to one and a half meters.

The meteorological center advises all residents and marine operators to remain cautious and stay informed through official channels for any updates or changes in weather conditions.
