Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds are also expected to affect parts of the Madinah, Makkah, Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 45 km/h. Wave heights may vary from half a meter to over two and a half meters, resulting in sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly winds are forecasted at speeds of 20 to 40 km/h. Waves in this area are expected to range from one to two meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
