Thunderstorms and Dust-Stirring Winds Forecast for Several Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Moderate to torrential thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds, are forecast for the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds are expected to continue affecting the Makkah and Madinah regions, leading to low visibility along the coastal road to Jazan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 20-45 km/h, reaching up to 55 km/h in the southern part. Waves are predicted to range from one to two meters, reaching up to two and a half meters in the southern part. The sea conditions are expected to be moderate to rough in the southern region.

In contrast, the Arabian Gulf will experience calmer conditions. Winds are expected to be southeasterly to easterly at speeds of 08-28 km/h. Waves in the Arabian Gulf will range from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will remain calm.
