Riyadh: Moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds are forecasted for parts of Najran, Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions, with the potential to extend to the highlands of Makkah Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds are expected over Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah regions. Meanwhile, temperatures are predicted to remain hot to extremely hot in the Eastern Region, indicating challenging weather conditions for residents.
Over the Red Sea, winds will vary in direction and speed. The northern and central parts will experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 10-30 km/h, while the southern part will see westerly to northwesterly winds reaching 20-50 km/h. Sea conditions will range from calm to choppy, with wave heights between half a meter and two and a half meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the wind direction will shift from southwesterly to southeasterly in the northern and central parts, and from northwesterly to northeasterly in the southern part, with speeds of 10-25 km/h. The sea will remain calm, with waves between half a meter and one meter.
