Thunderstorms and Dust-Stirring Winds Expected in Jazan and Surrounding Regions

Jeddah: Partly cloudy skies with a likelihood of thunderstorms are anticipated in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds may occur in the eastern parts of these areas, extending to the western parts of Riyadh, Madinah, and Hail regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly directions at speeds of 15-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly flows at 10-45 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights will range from half a meter to two meters, resulting in sea conditions that will vary from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northerly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 15-30 km/h. Wave heights will reach between half a meter and one and a half meters, leading to relatively calm sea conditions.
