Jazan: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail over parts of the highlands in the Jazan and Aseer regions. Dust-stirring winds are expected to persist across areas of Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran regions. The dust impact is also anticipated to extend to the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands and parts of the Makkah and Madinah regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, surface winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 16-36 km/h. The wave heights in the Red Sea are predicted to range from half a meter to one and a half meters with light to moderate sea conditions. Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds will also be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 20-40 km/h, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters, creating moderate sea conditions.
