Thundershowers and Strong Winds Expected in Saudi Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast moderate to heavy thundershowers, accompanied by strong winds and hail in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, and the Eastern regions. Fog may form in those regions, extending to parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northeasterly to northerly winds of 20-42 km/h in the northern and central regions, and southerly to southwesterly winds of 10-30 km/h in the southern areas. Waves may range from one meter to more than two and a half meters, with the sea expected to be relatively calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to one meter, with relatively calm seas.
