Three Qatari Amiri Diwan Personnel Die in Sharm El-Sheikh Traffic Accident


Riyadh: The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Arab Republic of Egypt has announced the death of three Amiri Diwan personnel in a traffic accident in Sharm El-Sheikh. The employees were carrying out official duties when the accident occurred.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the deceased were identified as Saud bin Thamer Al-Thani, Abdullah Ghanem Al Khayarin, and Hassan Jaber Al Jaber. The accident also left two others injured: Abdullah Issa Al Kuwari and Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Buainain.



The Qatar News Agency confirmed that the embassy immediately began following up on the accident with the relevant Egyptian authorities. The two injured individuals are currently receiving necessary medical care at Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital, and arrangements are being made to transfer the deceased and injured back to Doha.
