Three Killed in Ambulance Helicopter Crash Off Southwestern Japan

Nagasaki: Three people were killed and others injured when an ambulance helicopter crashed into the sea off the coast of southwestern Japan. The Japan Coast Guard stated today that rescue teams found and rescued the helicopter crew - a pilot, a mechanic, and a nurse - who were clinging to inflatable lifesavers in the water. The Coast Guard deployed two aircraft and three ships in the search and recovery efforts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the helicopter was traveling from Nagasaki Airport to a hospital in Fukuoka city when the crash occurred. The Coast Guard confirmed that investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
