Riyadh: The Garage, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Energy, has announced the launch of the inaugural cohort of the 'TAQATech Accelerator' program. This initiative, hosted at The Garage's headquarters in Riyadh, aims to support and empower startups in the energy sector by providing both private and shared workspaces, investment opportunities, a vast network of enabling partners, and various additional benefits.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the accelerator will host 20 startups selected to join the cohort over a four-month period. It offers a comprehensive support package for technology-driven energy startups. This includes specialized workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions with energy experts, shared workspaces, access to investors, and a robust network of partners within the energy ecosystem.
Key focus areas of the program encompass product strategy development and market fit, legal and technical considerations, pricing and sales fundamentals, marketing strategies, financial and accounting management, and skills for presenting to investors, culminating in a final Demo Day scheduled for May 2026.
The Garage fosters an incubator environment and a cohesive community that encompasses numerous programs, initiatives, and activities specifically designed to support technology startups' growth, generate investment opportunities, and facilitate expansion.
