Blantyre: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has implemented the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' program to provide iftar meals to fasting Muslims in Malawi and Burundi, as part of its Ramadan initiatives abroad during the holy month.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in Malawi, the program, benefiting 800 individuals, was launched in Blantyre during a ceremony attended by local officials and Islamic leaders. In Burundi, the program was inaugurated in Bujumbura and will benefit approximately 4,500 individuals.
Officials in both countries expressed their gratitude to the Saudi leadership for its ongoing support of Muslims worldwide, highlighting that such initiatives reflect the Kingdom's leading role in serving Islamic and humanitarian causes.
