Riyadh, The Transport General Authority (TGA) has received three prestigious international awards at the "ShipTek International Awards KSA 2024" conference in Al-Khobar, a press release from TGA said. These awards acknowledge TGA's notable contributions to the maritime sector, including being recognized as the "Best Employer of the Year," for fostering an environment conducive to innovation and empowerment. Moreover, the TGA's deputy in charge of shipping Eng. Essam Al-Amari was recognized with the "Outstanding Performance of the Year Award', while Hind Al-Hilal, Senior Seafarer Affairs Officer at the authority, received the "Accomplished Young Woman Achiever of the year". According to the release, these achievements reflect the exceptional efforts of the TGA in the maritime sector, including securing the International Maritime Organization (IMO) International membership for 2024-2025. The authority has also actively conducted programs and workshops to empower and expand the maritime sector globally.
