TGA Conducts Over 367,000 Transport Inspections in July

Riyadh: The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced yesterday that its inspection teams conducted over 367,000 inspections of land and maritime transport activities across the Kingdom in July 2025, as part of TGA's commitment to enforcing regulations and ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in the land transport sector, over 357,000 inspections were conducted, resulting in a 92% compliance rate. More than 47,000 violations were detected during these operations. Riyadh led the inspections with more than 98,000 operations, followed by Eastern Region with 57,000, Madinah with 22,000, Qassim with 20,000, Aseer with 19,000, and Jazan with 17,000.

For the maritime transport sector, teams carried out over 9,600 inspections, achieving a 99% compliance rate. Eastern Region had the highest number of maritime inspections with 3,551, followed by Makkah with 2,539, and Jazan with 2,351.
