Tayma Agricultural Festival Showcases Abundance of Local Crops

Riyadh: Tayma Governor Saad Al-Sudairy inaugurated the third edition of Tayma Governorate's Agricultural Products Festival. Organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's Tabuk Region branch, the four-day event features over 30 farmers and exhibitors, alongside several governmental, civil, and non-profit organizations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Director General of the ministry's branch in Tabuk, Amjad Thalab, stated that the festival aims to highlight the governorate's rich variety of crops, including palm trees, fruits, and vegetables. The event showcases more than 30 sections, with a dedicated area for children to learn about agriculture and farming tools. Additionally, the festival offers a series of awareness activities designed to engage all segments of society, promote environmental awareness, and inspire future generations to participate in agricultural endeavors.

Thalab also emphasized that the festival contributes to supporting the agricultural sector, empowering small-scale farmers, and strengthening food security in the Kingdom.
