Taif: Under the patronage of Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Taif Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the first Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum 2025. The forum commenced at the Grand Hall of Taif University, while related activities are set to continue at Arruddaf Park until April 26, 2025.
According to Saudi Press Agency, upon his arrival, Prince Saud bin Nahar visited the Heritage Commission pavilion. He viewed exhibits from participating government, service, and private entities, including a unique carpet created by the Taif Municipality. This exhibition highlights the collaborative efforts in celebrating the cultural and economic significance of the Taif rose.
The forum will host scientific discussions focusing on the Taif rose, emphasizing its economic importance and potential for attracting global investors. Taif University's College of Pharmacy is slated to present several research papers, contributing to the academic and commercial discourse surrounding this iconic regional product.
