President Bashar al-Assad Monday received an invitation from the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Nahyan, to attend the Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the invitation was extended during al-Assad’s reception Sunday of the UAE Embassy in Damascus Chargé d’Affaires, Abdul Hakim Nuaimi, who invited him officially to attend the conference that would be held in Dubai between November 30 and December 12.
