Riyadh: Syria has condemned in the strongest terms the statements made by the so-called spokesperson for the Houthi militia, which included false claims and accusations against Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued on Wednesday, Syria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said the claims are aimed at distorting Saudi Arabia's regional role and undermining efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
The ministry reaffirmed Syria's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the face of the allegations. It also praised the Kingdom's positive and pivotal role in promoting regional peace and security, supporting political solutions to conflicts, and fostering dialogue and cooperation among countries in the region in a manner that serves the interests of their peoples and preserves regional stability.
