Jeddah: announced that the Kingdom's water sector achieved a local content rate of 66.10% by the end of fiscal year 2025, surpassing the annual target of 66%.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SWA stated that this performance reflects the expansion of reliance on national capabilities across various water sector value chains, alongside the growing participation of local suppliers and contractors in sector projects, contributing to improved operational efficiency and enhanced supply reliability and stability.
The authority affirmed that its role centers on developing regulatory frameworks and monitoring compliance to ensure sustainable results, noting that this progress boosts sector readiness and supply chain reliability, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 targets.
