A man who opened fire inside a factory in Aqaba Governorate on Monday, injuring two people with live bullets, has been arrested, according to a statement from the Public Security Department. The weapon used in the shooting has been seized, and authorities have launched an investigation, with plans to refer the suspect to the judiciary. The shooting occurred after the suspect, a former employee of the factory, was terminated from his position. He fled the scene following the incident, prompting a manhunt by authorities. Two foreign workers were wounded by gunfire and are receiving treatment at a local hospital. Additionally, a Jordanian worker was hospitalized after sustaining injuries from a fall during the chaos.
